The instructor was thorough. She began with basic drawing skills, which we all said was very helpful. She also demonstrated what we were to do, thenshe provided individual attention to each student, which we all also liked.

I really liked how she went over techniques with us first to help build a baseline skill set. Then she had a project to apply the skills to.

Shweta is very knowledgeable and a talented artist. She broke things down into easy to grasp concepts. It made drawing seem a lot less intimidating and more attainable. She helped us feel very successful.

Enjoyed it very much. Learned how to dilute and blend colors using linseed oil. This was my very first introduction to oil painting. Sweta taught us how to organize and take care of of brushes. I like small groups.

This piece came to me as I was dreaming of laying on the banks of a clear, beautiful river. I could hear the water, and I could feel the colors of the trees and the sky. The serene feeling this vision created in my soul made me feel driven to try to convey it in colorful paints. As I put down the final layer of color, I realized that I brought this vision to life.

Title or Location: Summer afternoon in Parsley Bay
Painting (oil on canvas, 50x40cm) of Parsley Bay on a summer afternoon. Parsley Bay is a little oasis in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, not far from where I live. Few things are as refreshing as a dip there to cool off in the summer heat. As a self taught artist who grew up in the countryside in Sweden and moved to Sydney in 2009, I?ve always been fascinated by the turquoise waters and the gold coloured sandstone cliffs. There is so much beauty around Sydney harbour to be painted!

Title or Location: Authenticity
My art "Authenticity"This piece represents my journey of transformation ? a journey of becoming the truest and most authentic version of myself. It is about releasing limiting beliefs, breaking free from old patterns, and leaving behind the masks I once wore to fit expectations and seek acceptance. The act of removing the mask symbolizes letting go of the false identities that no longer serve me and embracing who I truly am.At its heart, this artwork carries a powerful message: be aut
